Zildjian Cymbals
For all drummers and percussionists, indeed all musicians, the instruments you play are at the forefront of your sound and performance. I've been using Zildjian for the last twenty years and they've become an integral part of everything I do musically. I've actually been an endorser of Zildjian for many years, and in that time my respect and admiration for not just the cymbals but the people who work for and with them has grown and grown. Special thanks particularly go to Tina Clarke and Bob Wiczling for all their support and help.
I currently use K Custom Dark crashes, hats and ride in my kit set up, and an Azuka, Oriental China Trash and Oriental splashes for my percussion set up, not to mention a Fuyin gong and Earth Plate which add some fantastic textures for the Drum'n'Didg show. If you want to know more about Zildjian and the many legendary drummers who use them, check out their website at: www.zildjian.com

The music room at the Horniman Museum is surely the bestest place
on earth, with a wealth of drums and percussion instruments from
all around the world on show, and a whole host more in the handling
collection that can be used for workshops and performances. During
the last year I have been loaned a number of fantastic instruments
from their handling collection to demonstrate and utilise in the
Have-a-Go Drum Show, including a beautiful Balafon, (pictured
above), which is a wooden xylophone from Sierra Leone, and which
has a truly wonderful sound. There's also a Talking Drum, Didgeridoo,
Goblet drum, bodran, Mbira thumb piano and Indian ankle bracelets.
If you are ever in South East London it's a great place to while
away a few hours, and entry is free. Check it out The Horniman
Museum, 100 London Road, Forest Hill, London SE23 3PQ. Tel: 0181
